Open call for candidates for the Board of Directors of the Malérargues Endowment Fund
Open call for candidates for the Board of Directors
The Malérargues Endowment Fund exists to secure the future of Malérargues and the voice work in the Wolfsohn, Hart and Roy Hart Theatre tradition. Read more about the fund’s mission here.
The Board of Directors of the Malérargues Endowment Fund will be holding its annual general meeting in June, at which time a small number of board seats may become available. New candidates are invited to put themselves forward.
In addition, one seat on the board is reserved for a representative to be chosen by the members of the Friends of Malérargues platform.
If there are more candidates than seats available, the board will select between them by ballot.
The work is substantive and rewarding. Over the past year, the fund has:
created and launched the Friends of Malérargues discussion platform, which is steadily growing;
built and launched a new website to inform the public about the fund’s mission and activities;
prepared a significant fundraising campaign, to be launched shortly;
extensively researched options to ensure the permanent protection of the Malérargues estate;
worked collaboratively with the Board of Directors of the Roy Hart Voice Centre to strengthen the relationship between the two bodies.
Board involvement requires a genuine commitment to Malérargues and the voice work in the Wolfsohn, Hart and Roy Hart Theatre tradition. Candidates with relevant experience in areas such as finance, law, fundraising and grant writing, communications and public relations, or estate and property management are particularly welcome.
Board eligibility
Board membership is open to anyone with ongoing active involvement in the activities of Malérargues and the voice work in the Wolfsohn, Hart and Roy Hart Theatre tradition.
How to propose your candidacy
Please send a message here or write to contact@fddmalerargues.org outlining:
your involvement with Malérargues and the work on the human voice;
what motivates your desire to serve on the board;
what relevant skills and experience you would bring to the board;
what you would like to see the Malérargues Endowment Fund achieve in the coming year and beyond, and how you might contribute to that vision.
Candidacies will be reviewed by the board ahead of the annual general meeting in June.
Deadline: 28 May 2026
